Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Lead Credit Risk Analytics Specialist

to spearhead the development and execution of model implementation tasks. This role will focus on analyzing results and offering insights into patterns and fluctuations within the data.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position include:
  • Providing expert interpretation of IFRS 9 standards.
  • Coordinating and executing model modifications in collaboration with the model development team.
  • Serving as a principal liaison for model oversight and development teams.

The role will also require collaboration with essential stakeholders to ensure compliance with IFRS 9 reporting standards, delivering presentations to senior committees, addressing inquiries, and mentoring team members.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an individual who excels in analytics and is passionate about uncovering the underlying causes of analytical challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Credit Risk setting as a technical or analytical authority, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders. Strong skills in drafting and presenting comprehensive reports to senior management, as well as leading team initiatives, are essential.

The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of expected credit loss models and relevant model standards. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and familiarity with statistical and reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects, IBM COGNOS) is required. Additionally, expertise in SAS and the capability to articulate complex model outputs through practical examples aligned with organizational objectives are crucial.
