Job Overview

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plastic Surgery Registrar to join their team. As a Specialty Registrar in Plastic Surgery, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the department.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the department
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Participating in quality improvement projects and contributing to the development of new policies and procedures
  • Supervising and training junior doctors and medical students
  • Participating in teaching and education activities

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • MRCS or equivalent qualification
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • 4 years full-time postgraduate training in Plastic Surgery or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work comfortably at the level of a Specialty Registrar in Plastic Surgery
  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice in the UK
  • Ability to travel between multiple hospital sites
