Job Overview

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialty Registrar to join their Plastic Surgery Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices
  • Supervising and mentoring junior doctors and medical students
  • Engaging in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to possess:

  • MRCS or equivalent qualification
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • 4 years full-time postgraduate training in plastic surgery or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work comfortably at the level of a Specialty Registrar, including logbook evidence
  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice in the UK
  • Ability to travel between multiple hospital sites
