Position Overview

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled customer-oriented professional to become a part of our esteemed STARS/Security team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service for our high-profile clientele.

The STARS program at Securitas merges top-tier customer service with vigilant security measures, catering to clients, their personnel, visitors, and patrons.

Our services encompass a broad spectrum of roles, including Reception Services, Front of House, Concierge, Facilities Management, Office Coordination, Administration, and third-party vendor oversight, all seamlessly integrated with a discreet security presence.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Daytime shifts only
  • 37 hours per week
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • On-site parking available

*This position is initially a maternity cover for six months, with the possibility of extension, transitioning into on-site security services thereafter.

Role Responsibilities

Our STARS team is dedicated to providing a consistently high-quality, comprehensive, and discreet hosting experience for all visitors, guests, and employees at the designated site(s). The primary objective is to ensure the safety and security of clients' personnel, property, and information, delivered in a knowledgeable, professional, and service-focused manner, fostering a comfortable environment.

STARS serve as the central point of contact for all Front of House operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution throughout the premises.

We combine exemplary front-of-house services with enhanced security training. Our team members are vetted to BS7858 standards and undergo tailored training to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Welcoming and assisting all staff, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Providing a consistently high-quality customer experience.
  • Promoting a high-performance culture and motivating colleagues.
  • Maintaining a visually appealing workplace (reception area, lobby, office, etc.).
  • Collaborating closely with client representatives (Facilities Manager, Office Manager, etc.) to ensure an inviting office and front-of-house environment.
  • Assisting in emergency situations as required.
  • Delivering timely and accurate information.
  • Adapting to changing priorities swiftly and effectively.
  • Building strong relationships with returning clients (staff, visitors, contractors, etc.).
  • Representing Securitas and the client organization in alignment with their values and culture.

Applicants should possess experience in delivering outstanding customer service within a fast-paced corporate setting, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and personal presentation.

Security responsibilities include safeguarding property and premises, ensuring health and safety, preventing loss and waste, deterring crime, and providing customer service.

Essential Qualifications
  • SIA License (assistance in obtaining will be provided).
  • Impeccable personal appearance.
  • Adaptable, professional, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to high-level service.
  • Familiarity with administrative software, including MS Office.
  • Polite and proactive demeanor.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Ability to use initiative and adapt to various situations.
  • Experience in Customer Service, Front of House, Concierge, or similar roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
