Overview:

Carbon60 is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the customer interface for a prominent Engineering Firm. This position is a temporary ongoing contract with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role. The successful candidate will be required to undergo basic security clearance.

Location: On-site

Compensation: £26.45 per Hour PAYE (£48,139) or £35.00 Per Hour Umbrella (£63,700)

Working Schedule: 35 hours per week (4.5 days), with hours to be determined at the time of appointment, within the range of 7am to 7pm.

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing – Minimum duration of 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination of Facilities Management (FM) tasks, encompassing Maintenance and Strategic Construction initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary customer liaison.
  • Assist the facilities site manager in addressing reactive and unplanned daily challenges that may arise within the facility.
  • Support the facilities site manager and Environmental, Health & Safety Controller on matters requiring action or enhancement in Environmental, Health & Safety, acting as a coordinator when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Facilities Management or Building & Construction, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional skills in relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
  • Outstanding communication capabilities.
