Position Overview:

In response to our continuous growth, NEC SWS Public Safety is expanding its Internal Sales team.

The Client Support Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding the Public Safety division, efficiently managing renewals and smaller orders.

Success in this role will be evaluated based on the accuracy of opportunity forecasting, revenue generation, and exceeding client expectations for straightforward proposals while adhering to NEC Sales Governance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely processing of renewals and secure multi-year agreements when applicable.
  • Identify sales opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and be accountable for achieving revenue targets for smaller orders as outlined in the internal sales commission structure.
  • Oversee commercial relationships for smaller sales opportunities, ensuring compliance with NEC terms and conditions to maximize profitability and contract longevity.
  • Establish NEC as a trusted partner, responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with NEC team members across sales, projects, support, and service lines to develop effective solutions for customer challenges.
  • Understand customer pain points and coordinate swift resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to mandated sales processes and governance, including CRM data management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete data within the CRM system to facilitate financial forecasting and resource planning.
  • Process won deals promptly, addressing any issues to enable swift delivery and invoicing.

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid understanding of the Emergency Services Sector, with the ability to discuss Police Systems and Solutions knowledgeably.
  • Proven experience in managing key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee sales opportunities from inception to completion.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in delivering or selling solutions related to public safety or mission-critical clients.
  • Ability to resolve customer account issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • High standard of written communication.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
