Job Description

**Business Development Manager - Sales Expert**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager - Sales Expert to join our team at Verto People. As a Business Development Manager - Sales Expert, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, prospecting, and developing strategic plans to capitalize on them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Sell protective packaging solutions, including paper padding, air cushions, foam packaging, and loose fill, to customers in the South of the UK.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and exceed performance goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional value to customers.
  • Provide weekly reports on customer visits, pipeline, sales projections, and other key performance indicators.
  • Manage a small portfolio of customers, visiting them regularly to understand their needs and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, or similar.
  • Experience selling protective packaging solutions, including paper padding, air cushions, foam packaging, and loose fill, or similar packaging logistics.
  • Based in the South of the UK.
  • Full UK driving license.
