Lead Architect - AI

Barclays Bank PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Architect - AI to spearhead the development of our AI-powered solutions. As a key member of our Digital Customer Experience team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive innovation and excellence.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft groundbreaking AI solutions that meet business requirements and enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in AI technologies and methodologies will be essential in ensuring the successful implementation of AI projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex delivery, operations, and product engineering, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop AI-powered solutions that meet business requirements and enhance customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft groundbreaking AI solutions.
  • Ensure AI systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Evaluate and select AI tools and technologies that best fit project requirements and organizational goals.
  • Promote and ensure the ethical use of AI, considering privacy, fairness, and transparency in AI solutions.
