We are conducting a recruitment initiative for a prominent consultancy seeking a Solution Architect to spearhead a significant banking project.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Lead the architectural design and implementation** of the Card Account Migration project: Formulate a detailed architectural vision and comprehensive design for the migration of card accounts across various systems including Cards & Payment, Application Integration, Acquiring, and Issuing.
- **Conduct solution impact evaluations**: Facilitate assessments to uncover potential risks and advantages of proposed solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- **Manage key technologies and capabilities**: Serve as the subject matter expert for specific technologies related to the migration process. Establish the roadmap and ongoing support for these areas, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- **Promote architectural governance**: Maintain architectural standards and strategies by providing guidance and oversight throughout project execution.
- **Foster stakeholder engagement**: Build collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and ensure a successful migration process.
- **Encourage collaboration with technical peers**: Develop strong working relationships with technical leaders to share insights and drive collective success.
Technical Qualifications:
- **Proven expertise in enterprise architecture**: Demonstrate extensive experience in defining, documenting, and delivering technical solutions across the enterprise.
- **Deep understanding of application and API architecture**: Exhibit a strong grasp of application principles, API architecture (including RAML, SOAP), service definitions, and web service implementations.
- **Comprehensive solution architecting experience**: Have a solid track record of architecting integrated solutions that encompass software and application architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- **Experience managing complex IT delivery programs**: Show proficiency in executing significant IT delivery initiatives from start to finish.
- **Relevant architectural certifications**: Hold certifications such as TOGAF or BCS to reinforce your architectural knowledge.
- **Familiarity with Java/Java Enterprise technologies**: Knowledge of Java/Java Enterprise will be advantageous.
