Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect – Card Account Migration to drive our client's strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the architectural framework and implementation of the Card Account Migration project: Formulate a detailed architectural strategy and holistic design for the transition of card accounts across various systems including Payments, Application Integration, Acquiring, and Issuing.
  • Conduct solution impact evaluations: Lead assessments to pinpoint potential challenges and advantages of proposed solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Manage critical capabilities and technologies: Act as the subject matter authority for specific technologies pertinent to the migration. Establish the strategic direction and ongoing support for these domains, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Promote architectural governance: Maintain architectural principles and strategies by offering guidance and oversight throughout project execution.
  • Develop robust stakeholder connections: Build collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and facilitate a successful migration process.
  • Encourage teamwork with technical colleagues: Forge strong partnerships with the CTO and other architects to exchange knowledge and drive collective achievement.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture: Showcase extensive hands-on experience in defining, documenting, and delivering comprehensive technical solutions across the organization.
  • Thorough understanding of application and API architecture: Exhibit a solid grasp of application frameworks, API architecture principles (such as RAML, SOAP), service definitions, and web service implementations, including external API exposure.
  • Proven end-to-end solution architecture experience: Have a successful track record of architecting integrated solutions that encompass software/application architecture and system integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to oversee complex IT delivery projects: Demonstrate proficiency in managing significant IT delivery projects from conception to execution.
  • Relevant Solution/Enterprise Architect certifications: Hold certifications such as TOGAF or BCS, enhancing your architectural credibility.
  • Familiarity with Java/Java Enterprise: Knowledge of Java/Java Enterprise technologies is advantageous.
