We are conducting a recruitment initiative for a prominent consultancy seeking a Solution Architect to contribute to a significant banking initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design and implementation of the Card Account Migration project: Formulate a detailed architectural vision and comprehensive design for the migration of card accounts across various systems including Cards & Payment, Application Integration, Acquiring, and Issuing.
- Conduct solution impact evaluations: Facilitate assessments to pinpoint potential risks and advantages of proposed solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Take ownership of essential capabilities/technologies: Become the authority on specific capabilities or technologies pertinent to the migration. Establish the roadmap, direction, and ongoing support for these areas, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Promote architectural governance: Maintain architectural standards and strategies by offering guidance and oversight throughout project execution.
- Foster robust stakeholder connections: Build collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders at all levels to comprehend their requirements and guarantee a successful migration.
- Encourage collaboration with technical peers: Develop strong working relationships with the CTO and other architects to share insights and drive collective success.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture: Show extensive practical experience in defining, documenting, and delivering technical solutions across the organization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of application and API architecture: Possess a solid understanding of application principles, API architecture (including RAML, SOAP, etc.), service definitions, and web service implementations.
- Proven experience in end-to-end solution architecture: Have a track record of architecting holistic solutions that encompass software/application architecture and integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established ability to manage intricate IT delivery programs: Exhibit proficiency in executing large-scale IT delivery programs from start to finish.
- Relevant certifications in Solution/Enterprise Architecture: Hold certifications such as TOGAF or BCS, enhancing your architectural qualifications.
- Familiarity with Java/Java Enterprise technologies: Knowledge in this area will be considered advantageous.
