Position Overview: Customer Service Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between clients, field service technicians, and various internal departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Streamlining communication channels among customers and service teams
  • Effectively organizing and scheduling service appointments
  • Overseeing follow-up procedures for service inquiries and seeking assistance when necessary
  • Managing all correspondence related to ongoing service cases
  • Requesting and coordinating quotes from third-party service providers
  • Serving as a knowledgeable resource for team members
  • Preparing and submitting responses to tender requests
  • Arranging orders for stock parts and essential documentation
  • Coordinating logistics for loan instruments and the return of parts

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or scheduling roles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and sound decision-making capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Familiarity with standard IT tools, including SAP
  • Understanding of the existing customer base and related equipment
