Excelcare Holdings is seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join our team at one of our esteemed care homes.

As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and contributing to the overall efficiency of the home.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting all individuals who visit our care home.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls and messages with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Handle mail correspondence, ensuring timely distribution and organization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, creating a pleasant atmosphere for everyone.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure adequate office supplies are readily available.
  • Assist in promoting our care home by conducting tours for potential residents and their families.
  • Support the recruitment process by assisting with administrative tasks related to new team member onboarding.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • A positive and proactive attitude, coupled with a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, demonstrating your ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all your work.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or receptionist role, showcasing your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
