About the Role

The Sales Director will be responsible for driving the brand's global distribution strategy, determining the best route to market in each region, and leveraging a network of retail contacts. This role involves driving growth and profitability of all accounts in the UK and internationally, excluding UK retail stores and concessions and direct-to-consumer channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Identify new partners and territories of potential success, and negotiate partnerships with premium retailers.
  • Develop Sales Forecasts: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, setting performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish Strategic Partnerships: Deliver a comprehensive key account roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy and yearly growth plans, and establish strong relationships with key customers.
  • Enhance Brand Visibility: Attend industry events and trade shows globally to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners.
  • Drive Business Growth: Focus on brand and category performance through building strong internal relationships with the team.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in a similar role, within the beauty industry, or ready to step up from a more junior commercial role.
  • International Experience: Demonstrated success in scaling business beyond the UK.
  • Beauty Services Experience: Beauty services experience would be helpful but not essential.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, comfortable with numbers and capable of handling complex problem-solving.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible with travel requirements, including potential international trips and be in the office 3 days a week.
