Position Overview: Are you an experienced Communications and Marketing Coordinator looking to contribute to a reputable organization? In this role, you will play a vital part in executing the European Automobile and Corporate communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the activation of a comprehensive pan-European proactive communications strategy for Automobile and Corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Department Manager to establish a clear vision for the workstream, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Serve as the main liaison for the designated PR agency, developing briefs, managing project delivery, and analyzing results to enhance future strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of all written materials for earned media outreach, ensuring accuracy in technical details and tone across press releases, press kits, and event documentation.
  • Manage media monitoring for primary European markets, working with the agency to generate timely reports and insights for the Department Manager and wider business.
  • Handle the day-to-day operations of the Honda News website, collaborating with the agency to improve usability and assist markets with content management.
  • Work in conjunction with the Social Media Section Manager and Events Specialist to execute initiatives that promote Honda's sustainability communications.
  • Assist the Department Manager in managing the budget effectively, ensuring timely processing of supplier payments.
  • Participate in content shoots as needed, coordinating with production agencies to ensure timely delivery of agreed outputs.
  • Foster strong relationships with the broader Automobile division and Corporate project teams to provide effective communications support.
  • Demonstrate experience in executing a multi-channel communications program aimed at generating earned media coverage, whether from a frontline PR team or within a PR agency.
  • Exhibit excellent writing and editing skills, with a background in website management and a comfort level in working with content management systems.
  • Show a passion for producing engaging visual content and the ability to motivate external teams to deliver high-quality work.
  • Possess strong relationship management skills, capable of collaborating with PR teams and agencies across varying levels of expertise throughout Europe.
