Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the effective rollout of a proactive communications strategy across Europe for automotive and corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Department Manager to establish a clear vision for your workstream and secure engagement from key stakeholders to ensure success.
  • Serve as the main liaison for the designated PR agency, coordinating briefs, managing project delivery, and analyzing results to derive insights for future campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of all written materials for earned media outreach, ensuring accuracy in technical details and tone across press releases, press kits, and event materials.
  • Manage media monitoring for key European markets, working with the agency to produce timely reports and insights for the Department Manager and broader business.
  • Handle day-to-day operations of the company news website, optimizing usability and assisting markets with content updates.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Events Specialist to execute initiatives supporting sustainability communications.
  • Support the Department Manager in managing activities within budget constraints, ensuring efficient processing of supplier payments.
  • Participate in content shoots as necessary, coordinating with production agencies to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
  • Build strong relationships with the broader automotive division and corporate project teams to provide effective communications support.
  • Demonstrate experience in executing a multi-channel communications program aimed at generating earned media coverage, whether in a frontline PR team or within a PR agency.
  • Exhibit excellent writing and editing skills, with a background in website management and familiarity with content management systems.
  • Possess a passion for developing engaging visual content and the ability to motivate external teams to produce high-quality work.
  • Showcase strong relationship management skills, effectively collaborating with PR teams and agencies across varying levels of expertise throughout Europe.
