About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at Howden. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our diverse range of insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update our database with accurate and current information from role activities.
  • Identify and develop potential client sources, utilizing your analytical skills to analyze data and update our database accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to secure commitment for proposal forms, utilizing your strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Build strong client relationships, collaborating with team members to achieve our goals.
  • Participate in campaigns and projects, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors and their offerings.
  • Plan and manage your diary and workload efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Undertake additional duties as required, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience with the ability to meet targets, utilizing your analytical skills to analyze data and update our database accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage workload and plan effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Competent in using IT platforms and maintaining records, utilizing your technical skills to update our database and analyze data.
