About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at Howden. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in promoting our diverse range of insurance products and supporting our Account Brokers by introducing new clients to our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and develop potential client sources, and communicate effectively with clients to secure commitment for proposal forms.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong client relationships and collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Database Management: Update the company's database with accurate, current information from role activities.
  • Market Research: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and plan and manage your diary and workload efficiently.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake additional duties as required to support the business.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience: Proven sales experience with the ability to meet targets.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data and update database accurately.
  • Workload Management: Ability to manage workload and plan effectively.
  • IT Skills: Competent in using IT platforms and maintaining records.
