Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering appropriate water hygiene services at client sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Engaging with customers to confirm satisfaction with completed work and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key client personnel and colleagues.
  • Completing field documentation and reports using ZetaSafe, Word, and Excel, ensuring timely circulation to relevant parties.
  • Proactively recommending improvements to existing systems to clients and/or Account Managers.
  • Maintaining an inventory of essential tools and spare parts for water hygiene tasks.
  • Ensuring personal safety and that of others by adhering to current legislation and site rules, reporting any incidents as per company or client policies.
  • Working towards achieving KPIs and targets set in collaboration with the line manager.
  • Staying updated on water industry knowledge.
  • Conducting Legionella and Total Viable Count (TVC) sampling.
  • Performing general water hygiene temperature monitoring.
  • Executing shower cleaning and descaling tasks.
  • Inspecting cold water storage tanks and providing findings with recommendations.
  • Servicing thermostatic mixer valves.
  • Recording results, adding assets, and setting up new customer sites via the Zeta mobile application.
  • Assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection.
  • Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Supervisor on technical matters.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with email and Google applications.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in Legionella control services, including temperature monitoring, cold water tank inspections, and disinfection techniques.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Legionella Awareness training and familiarity with ACoP L8 and HSG274 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of TMV servicing is a plus.
  • Experience in reading Legionella Risk Assessments is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Zeta mobile or similar programs is beneficial.
  • Experience in assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection is a plus.
