Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering appropriate water hygiene services to client sites while ensuring compliance with industry standards and Health & Safety regulations.
- Engaging with customers to confirm satisfaction with completed work and addressing any issues promptly.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key client personnel and colleagues.
- Completing field documentation and reports using various software tools and ensuring timely distribution to relevant parties.
- Proactively recommending improvements to existing systems to clients and/or Account Managers.
- Maintaining an inventory of essential tools and spare parts for water hygiene tasks.
- Ensuring personal safety and the safety of others, adhering to all legislation and site rules, and reporting any incidents as per company policies.
- Meeting KPIs and targets established with the line manager.
- Keeping up-to-date with water industry knowledge.
- Conducting Legionella and Total Viable Count (TVC) sampling.
- Performing general water hygiene temperature monitoring.
- Executing shower cleaning and descaling tasks.
- Inspecting cold water storage tanks and providing recommendations based on findings.
- Servicing thermostatic mixer valves.
- Recording results, adding assets, and setting up new customer sites via mobile applications.
- Assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection.
- Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Supervisor on technical matters.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in basic IT skills, including email and Google applications.
- A minimum of two years' experience in Legionella control services, encompassing temperature monitoring, cold water tank inspections, and disinfection techniques.
- Able to work collaboratively or independently.
- Possession of a full UK driving license is essential.
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent time management abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Desirable qualifications include Legionella Awareness training and knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274.
- Familiarity with TMV servicing and reading Legionella Risk Assessments is advantageous.
- Experience with mobile applications like Zeta or similar is a plus.
- Experience in assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection is beneficial.
