Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering essential water hygiene services to client sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Engaging with customers to confirm satisfaction with completed work and promptly reporting any issues.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key client personnel and colleagues.
  • Documenting fieldwork and reports using ZetaSafe, Word, and Excel, ensuring timely distribution to relevant parties.
  • Proactively recommending enhancements to existing systems to clients and/or Account Managers.
  • Maintaining an inventory of necessary tools and spare parts for water hygiene tasks.
  • Prioritizing personal safety and that of others, adhering to all relevant legislation and site regulations, and reporting any incidents as per company policies.
  • Striving to meet KPIs and targets established with the line manager.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the water industry.
  • Conducting Legionella and Total Viable Count (TVC) sampling.
  • Performing general water hygiene temperature monitoring.
  • Executing shower cleaning and descaling tasks.
  • Inspecting cold water storage tanks and providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Servicing thermostatic mixer valves.
  • Recording results, adding assets, and setting up new customer sites via the Zeta mobile application.
  • Assisting with cleaning and disinfecting cooling towers.
  • Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Supervisor on technical matters.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in basic IT skills, including email and Google applications.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Legionella control services, encompassing temperature monitoring, cold water tank inspections, and disinfection techniques.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Legionella Awareness training and familiarity with ACoP L8 and HSG274 are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of TMV servicing is a plus.
  • Experience in reading Legionella Risk Assessments is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Zeta mobile or similar programs is beneficial.
  • Experience in assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection is preferred.
