Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering water hygiene services to client sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Engaging with customers to confirm satisfaction with completed work and promptly addressing any issues.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key client personnel and colleagues.
  • Documenting fieldwork and reports using various software tools, ensuring timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively recommending enhancements to existing systems to clients and Account Managers.
  • Maintaining an inventory of essential tools and spare parts for water hygiene tasks.
  • Prioritizing safety for oneself and others, adhering to all relevant legislation and site rules, and reporting incidents as per company policies.
  • Meeting KPIs and targets established with the line manager.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the water industry.
  • Conducting Legionella and Total Viable Count (TVC) sampling.
  • Performing general water hygiene temperature monitoring.
  • Executing shower cleaning and descaling tasks.
  • Inspecting cold water storage tanks and providing findings with recommendations.
  • Servicing thermostatic mixer valves.
  • Recording results and setting up new customer sites using mobile applications.
  • Assisting with cleaning and disinfecting cooling towers.
  • Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Supervisor on technical matters.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in basic IT skills, including email and Google applications.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in Legionella control services, covering temperature monitoring, cold water tank inspections, and cleaning/disinfection techniques.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Legionella Awareness training and familiarity with ACoP L8 and HSG274 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of TMV servicing and experience with mobile applications is desirable.
