Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering essential water hygiene services at client locations while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and Health & Safety standards.
- Engaging with customers to confirm satisfaction with completed work and promptly addressing any issues.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key client stakeholders and colleagues.
- Completing field documentation and reports using ZetaSafe, Word, and Excel, ensuring timely distribution to relevant parties.
- Proactively recommending enhancements to existing systems to clients and/or Account Managers.
- Maintaining an inventory of necessary tools and spare parts for water hygiene tasks.
- Prioritizing personal safety and that of others, adhering to current legislation and site-specific rules, and reporting any incidents as per company or client policies.
- Striving to meet KPIs and targets established with the line manager.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in the water industry.
- Conducting Legionella and Total Viable Count (TVC) sampling.
- Performing general water hygiene temperature monitoring.
- Executing shower cleaning and descaling tasks.
- Inspecting cold water storage tanks and providing recommendations based on findings.
- Servicing thermostatic mixer valves.
- Recording results, adding assets, and setting up new customer sites via the Zeta mobile application.
- Assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection.
- Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Supervisor on technical matters.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in basic IT skills, including email and Google applications.
- A minimum of two years' experience in Legionella control services, covering temperature monitoring, cold water tank inspections, and disinfection techniques.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent time management abilities and capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Desirable: Legionella Awareness training, knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274, TMV servicing experience, and familiarity with Zeta mobile or similar programs.
- Experience in assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfection is a plus.
