The Retail Division at MICHAEL KORS is a rapidly expanding network comprising over 30 Outlets, 80 Lifestyle stores, and 100 Concessions/Shop in Shops across 21 European nations. Our EMEA Retail team is enthusiastic, motivated, diverse, and embodies a remarkable international spirit.

Who You Are:

The Retail Operations Leader is accountable for assembling and guiding a team dedicated to propelling the business forward, overseeing all facets of store management.

What You'll Do:

Team Leadership

Inspire, guide, and mentor the store team to foster a culture of performance and accountability. Attract top talent, providing training and development to cultivate a team of true MK Ambassadors. Enhance team retention by ensuring actionable Talent and Succession plans are established. Support, implement, and follow up on all training and onboarding processes for new hires. Proactively address and resolve all HR matters in collaboration with the HR Department. Collaborate with the District Manager to assess the integrity of performance tracking systems, identifying areas for improvement.

Customer Experience

Lead the MK Ambassadors team to prioritize outstanding customer experiences, fostering loyalty and repeat business. Ensure MK Ambassadors maintain client communication through the use of available clienteling applications. Proactively manage the client database and leverage information to boost sales. Establish and maintain effective communication with the District Manager and corporate office members, retail partners, and other stores, collaborating to enhance performance across the district.

Sales Performance

Achieve and surpass sales targets, holding both yourself and your team accountable for results. Analyze performance reports and devise action plans to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Collaborate with the team on Quarterly Planners to establish optimal business strategies for achieving targets.

Operational Excellence

Ensure the store schedule is optimized, placing the right personnel in the right roles at the right times. Work with the District Visual Merchandiser to implement and uphold all visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring effective strategy execution. Partner with logistics and product teams to guarantee appropriate product assortment for the store, utilizing product tools effectively to maintain size and style integrity.

What You'll Need:

Proven experience in retail management within a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform under pressure and excel in a challenging, fast-paced setting. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and follow-up skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in English.
