Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Regional Director, your duties will encompass:

  • Formulating and implementing strategic plans to boost store efficiency and profitability by continuously evaluating our existing practices. We welcome innovative ideas, and Retail Operations Managers should promote this mindset within their teams.
  • Actively listening to and addressing feedback from our customers and staff, ensuring that their experiences are central to all decision-making processes.
  • Fostering a high-performance environment through talent development, succession planning, and encouraging leadership.
  • Collaborating with our Head Office teams to guarantee optimal product availability, positioning Morrisons as a premier shopping destination.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships within the local community, promoting your store as a vital community resource.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in managing a retail outlet within a fast-paced food environment is essential for this position.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a strong ability to listen and respond. You should excel in coaching and providing constructive feedback to ensure consistent operational practices.
  • A genuine passion for identifying and nurturing talent while cultivating a successful team atmosphere.
  • Proficient in resolving challenges and building trust within the store team.
  • Ability to establish clear objectives that align with departmental goals and the overarching priorities of Morrisons, ensuring your team is engaged and working towards a common purpose.
