Position Overview

The role involves evaluating patients' needs in relation to their objectives. You will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and assessing both functional and psychological recovery for individuals and groups. Regularly review care strategies and maintain effective communication with the patient's general practitioner, providing guidance on ongoing management plans agreed upon with the patient. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and respectful care in accordance with best practices and national standards. Offer advice and treatment to individual patients while adhering to established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Shropshire Pain Services, we adopt a personalized approach for each service user. The successful candidate will engage in remote consultations and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, nurses, and wellness practitioners dedicated to a biopsychosocial model of care for individuals experiencing persistent pain. We seek a well-organized Pain Management Clinical Consultant to deliver exceptional clinical care for patients suffering from chronic pain. You will conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses for patients with diverse physical and emotional challenges, develop, implement, review, and advance individualized treatment plans, ensuring effective interventions, specialized guidance, and timely patient discharge.
