About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Lead to join our team at Caridon Group. As a key member of our housing support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supported housing service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their tenancies are maintained.
    • Work closely with clients to identify and action service improvements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a small team of Housing Support Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
    • Conduct regular supervision and performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting their targets and providing excellent service.
  • Service Delivery
    • Oversee the day-to-day running of the supported housing service, ensuring it is delivered to agreed standards.
    • Monitor and report on service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to access best support for clients.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage and maintain accurate records, including client files and service reports.
    • Update and maintain internal computer systems, including Arthur, Nourish, and Plantific.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • At least two years' experience in managing a small team, preferably in a housing support or social care setting.
    • Demonstration of leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Ability to work positively without direct supervision, managing own time and meeting deadlines.
    • Knowledge of housing-related laws and regulations, with the ability to keep up to date with industry changes.
    • Computer literate, with experience of using Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Relevant qualifications in social care, housing, or a related field.
