The Assistant Team Manager will assist the Team Manager in leading a team to provide high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities in a supported housing or registered care service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, or profound and multiple disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Team Manager in managing the team and ensuring effective coordination of care and support services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, and stakeholders to ensure person-centered care.
- Collaborate with the Team Manager to ensure effective management and coordination of a high-quality, person-led service.
- Manage shift rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of individuals.
- Promote LDN London's core values and drive standards of support and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, or profound and multiple disabilities.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with individuals, families, and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Computer literate and able to use relevant software systems.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends and shifts alongside the team.
