About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our team at DO & CO. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in implementing our HR strategy and contributing to the success of our business.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert HR advice and guidance to our line managers and employees, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to excel in their roles. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as providing training and development opportunities to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Provide training and development opportunities to employees
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Administer payroll and maintain employee records
  • Interpret and advise on employment law
  • Deal with complex employee relations cases
  • Develop HR planning strategies
  • Plan and deliver training sessions

Requirements:

  • Business awareness and management skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to understand detailed information
  • IT and numeracy skills
  • Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships
  • A proven track record of 'making a difference' and leading by example
  • The ability to analyse, interpret and explain employment law
  • Integrity and approachability
  • Curiosity and willingness to challenge organisational culture
  • The ability to compile and interpret statistical data
  • Influencing and negotiating skills
