About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our team at DO & CO. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in implementing our HR strategy and contributing to the success of our business.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert HR advice and guidance to our line managers and employees, ensuring that our HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively and consistently across the organization.

You will be responsible for a range of activities, including employee relations, talent management, diversity and inclusion, negotiation with external agencies, pay and benefits, HR metrics, recruitment, and working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees
  • Implement HR policies and procedures across the organization
  • Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and performance management
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent
  • Negotiate with external agencies, including trade unions and employment law experts
  • Manage pay and benefits, including salary reviews and performance-related pay
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions
  • Recruit and onboard new employees, including developing job descriptions and person specifications
  • Develop and implement working practices, including policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong HR knowledge and experience, including employee relations, talent management, and employment law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with line managers and employees
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in HR systems and software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
