Facilities Engineering Manager – Leading Maintenance Provider – Up to £65,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineering Manager to oversee operations at prestigious locations. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a renowned company in the facilities management sector.


Your responsibilities will include managing a dedicated maintenance team and collaborating with external contractors to ensure seamless operations.


The Facilities Engineering Manager will be tasked with achieving 100% completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) while upholding the highest standards of quality. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the asset register on a regular basis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technical operations within the facility.
  • Manage established KPIs and SLAs effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety and environmental standards.
  • Plan and execute building shutdowns and client project initiatives.
  • Implement and uphold quality procedures across all sites.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members as necessary.
  • Facilitate the technical development of staff, including conducting annual performance reviews.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through daily interactions.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary reports.
  • Identify and pursue additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the permit system for site operations.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (C&G, HNC, HND or higher).
  • A comprehensive understanding of building management systems.
  • Strong technical engineering expertise.
  • Previous experience in managing engineering teams.
  • Experience in service delivery within high-profile financial institutions or critical data centers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of staff and clients.
  • Proficiency in managing and prioritizing a diverse workload.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
