Service Operations Coordinator

Position Overview: Our client is looking for a dedicated Service Operations Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage job assignments and evaluate work priorities for the field engineering team.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and provide performance feedback to management.
- Handle all incoming inquiries and coordinate parts ordering for the workshop.
- Efficiently organize the workload of service engineers and oversee the creation of job cards.
- Update clients regarding repair statuses and conduct monthly inventory checks.
- Process warranty claims and manage internal invoicing.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with various ad hoc tasks.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a service coordination role, where they have successfully allocated engineers to various tasks. Alternatively, experienced service engineers looking to transition into an office-based position are encouraged to apply. A solid understanding of machinery or construction equipment is essential.
Essential Skills: Candidates must possess experience in the automotive or machinery service sector, strong communication abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are crucial.
