We are thrilled to present a position for a Technical Sales Consultant to enhance our expanding Commercial division at SPT Labtech. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our innovative HexAuFoil product line, which is part of the renowned Quantifoil brand. Key duties include cultivating existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. A comprehensive understanding of the sales process and the ability to forge new customer connections are essential. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are vital for effectively demonstrating our offerings.
About SPT Labtech:
SPT Labtech's Quantifoil division stands at the forefront of manufacturing specimen supports for electron microscopy. Our latest HexAuFoil ultra-small hole gold grids have played a pivotal role in advancing cryo-electron microscopy, particularly in drug discovery and molecular biology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage Hubspot, LinkedIn, and email outreach to generate new sales leads and nurture existing client relationships.
- Identify and engage potential customers to stimulate demand for HexAuFoil and Quantifoil products.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients globally, with an emphasis on North America and Europe.
- Provide education on HexAuFoil, conduct product demonstrations, and offer ongoing support.
- Regularly report sales performance to the Chief Commercial Officer.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to relevant teams.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including generating quotes and updating CRM systems.
- Participate in training sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of the Company's Product Portfolio.
- Uphold the company's Vision, Mission & Values Statements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a biology-related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in life sciences consumables is required.
- Proximity to a major office location is essential.
- Experience collaborating with sales and technical teams is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications is necessary.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
- Familiarity with the sales cycle and laboratory environments is beneficial.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand scientific terminology related to life sciences are important.
