A comprehensive understanding of the sales process and the ability to forge new customer connections are essential for success in this position. Furthermore, exceptional communication and presentation skills are crucial for effectively demonstrating our offerings.

About SPT Labtech:

SPT Labtech's Quantifoil division stands at the forefront of producing electron microscopy specimen supports. Our recently introduced HexAuFoil ultra-small hole gold grids have played a pivotal role in enhancing cryo-electron microscopy, particularly in drug discovery and molecular biology applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Hubspot, LinkedIn, and email to cultivate new sales leads and sustain current business relationships.
  • Identify and engage potential clients to generate interest in HexAuFoil and Quantifoil products.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers worldwide, particularly in North America and Europe.
  • Provide education on HexAuFoil, conduct demonstrations, and offer ongoing support to clients.
  • Regularly report sales performance to the Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to relevant teams.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including quote generation and CRM updates.
  • Participate in training sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of the Company's Product Portfolio.
  • Uphold the company's Vision, Mission & Values Statements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant biological field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in life sciences consumables is required.
  • Proximity to Cambridgeshire is necessary.
  • Experience collaborating with sales and technical teams is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Familiarity with the sales cycle and laboratory environments is beneficial.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a grasp of scientific terminology related to life sciences are preferred.
