Technical Sales Manager

Kingsley Consulting has partnered with a leading Roofing & Waterproofing Manufacturer to assist with appointing a Technical Sales Manager for their Flat Roofing Product Range. Our Client is a renowned company within the Roofing Materials and Systems sector, operating on a global scale. This presents an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to further their career within the ever-growing UK Roofing Sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a sales pipeline working closely with specifiers, including Surveyors, Local Authorities, Building Owners, and Architects.
- Build relationships with Roofing Contractors to introduce product capabilities and collaborate on future project activity.
- Maintain a positive and proactive level of communication with the existing contractor network, including regular meetings, to engender mutual trust and understanding.
- Technically focused, ideally with a Construction Product background (Roofing, Building Envelope, etc.).
- Must have Specification Sales experience or at the least an understanding of this sales process.
- Experience in a sales construction-related environment or similar where relationship management is paramount.
- Experience of maintaining and developing customer and contractor relationships.
While the position is home-based, the successful candidate must be able to visit Client sites within the Region.
