  • Serving as a Non-Medical Prescriber or demonstrating a willingness to undertake the necessary training, with a focus on expert symptom management for this patient group.
  • Managing patients with altered airways and ensuring safe transitions to community care, which may involve home visits.
  • Contributing to clinical audits and research initiatives, including participation in studies such as PETNeck2.

Working with Us

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals offers specialized head and neck cancer services to a large patient population across the Lancashire & South Cumbria region. Our unique model allows for the integration of major surgical and oncology treatments on the same site, enabling the CNS team to support patients throughout their entire care pathway.

Joining our team provides a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional healthcare services across our communities. You will have access to diverse professional development opportunities, acquire new skills, and collaborate with dedicated medical colleagues who are supportive of the CNS team.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient experiences and outcomes, fostering innovation, and contributing to continuous improvement in our services.
