About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Associate to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Community Healthcare Hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume a lead role in specified areas, providing vocational and employment advice to patients/residents, coordinating activities, and assisting in individual and therapeutic group work.
- Work with qualified nurses to deliver individual treatment packages, focusing on collaborative care that promotes recovery and discharge.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to organize and facilitate care tailored to the individual needs of patients.
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, emphasizing health and independence.
- Work as part of a designated clinical and care team, delivering care that addresses the direct needs of individuals.
- Develop clinical competence, leadership, and reflective practice skills with the support of a mentor.
Person Specification
- Essential
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
- Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
- GCSE Grade A-C or Grade 4 or above in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
- Desirable
- Good Information Technology skills
