ServiceNow Technical Lead

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Technical Lead to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our ServiceNow product team, you will be responsible for the operational integrity, maintenance, and development of our ServiceNow enterprise instance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review and analyze ServiceNow functionality and applications to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and present proposals for ServiceNow platform enhancements
  • Design and develop technical specifications and solutions for ServiceNow implementation
  • Conduct technical testing in non-production environments to ensure quality and reliability
  • Maintain the ServiceNow platform, including general housekeeping and bug fixes
  • Support software development using agile methodologies
  • Coach and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Take technical ownership across all stages of development, from planning to delivery
  • Plan and drive software construction activities to meet business requirements
  • Design and develop systems and components, producing solution design documentation
  • Review proposed implementations and evaluate associated risks to ensure alignment with business objectives

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of business unit policies and processes
  • Experience in IT function and software project delivery
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes
  • Experience implementing the CSDM framework and custom integrations
  • Extensive experience in HR and SPM modules
