Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to support our business processes.
Key Responsibilities- ServiceNow Platform Management: Review and improve the functionality and applications on the ServiceNow platform to ensure alignment with business processes and policies.
- ServiceNow Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements, including configuration of Out of The Box (OOB) and custom code development.
- Technical Testing: Perform technical testing of ServiceNow in controlled non-Production environments to ensure quality and reliability.
- ServiceNow Maintenance: Maintain the ServiceNow platform, including general housekeeping, data cleansing, reduction of technical debt, bug fixes, and configuration.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to deliver software development using Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with other developers in the team to ensure consistent high-quality delivery.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ServiceNow solutions.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes and policies.
- ServiceNow Experience: Have extensive experience working with ServiceNow, including knowledge of ITIL processes and CSDM framework.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills, including experience with custom REST-based integrations and ServiceNow certifications.
- Agile Methodologies: Have experience working with Agile methodologies and relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience.
