About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and delivering our HRSD ServiceNow platform strategy and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Assist the product team in setting strategy, vision, and roadmap for HRSD, ensuring alignment with business needs and user requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize backlog items based on business value, user needs, and technical considerations, ensuring that the product backlog is updated regularly and technical tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and deliverables.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead the development of testing strategy, testing scripts, and signoff for any changes and development, ensuring that deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
  • Continuous Improvement: Own continuous improvement for HRSD ServiceNow, exploring new features of the platform and implementing changes to enhance product quality and user experience.
  • Governance and Compliance: Provide inputs for governance boards as per pre-defined frameworks and templates, ensuring that the product is aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Ideally educated to a degree level in a relevant field (business, computer science, engineering, etc.), with certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) and ServiceNow Certified.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience in a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR Operating models and process design to optimize utilization of HRSD ServiceNow module.
  • Technical and Business Acumen: Ability to work in a technological environment while working with business users, translating technical concepts to business users, and balancing technical considerations with business and user needs.
