Compensation:
Up to £60,000 based on qualifications and experience

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments of functionalities and applications on the ServiceNow platform to evaluate their alignment with business processes and policies.
Proposing enhancements for the ServiceNow platform and services.
Creating comprehensive technical specifications, developing proposed solutions, configuring Out of The Box (OOB) features, and writing program code to implement solutions.
Performing technical testing of ServiceNow in controlled non-production environments prior to deployment.
Overseeing the maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including routine housekeeping, data cleansing, minimizing technical debt, bug fixes, and configuration adjustments.
Facilitating software development delivery using agile methodologies.
Providing coaching, mentoring, and support to fellow developers within the team.
Assuming technical accountability throughout all phases and iterations of ServiceNow software development.
Planning and leading software construction activities, adapting suitable software development methods, tools, and techniques.
Designing complex systems, components, and modules while producing solution design documentation. Conducting impact analyses on significant design options and trade-offs, making recommendations, and assessing associated risks. Specifying prototypes/simulations to support informed decision-making.
Evaluating proposed implementations and assessing risks to the integrity of the product and service environment. Ensuring that appropriate change approvals are obtained for modifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:
Understanding of business unit policies and procedures.
Experience in IT functions and software project delivery.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL methodologies.
Experience in implementing the CSDM framework and custom REST-based integrations.
Extensive background in HR and SPM modules.

ServiceNow Certifications:
Certified System Administrator
Certified Application Developer
CIS – ITSM
SSCIS HR – advantageous
CIS SPM – advantageous
Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience in Agile methodologies.
