Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety Team Lead to join our team at MorePeople. As a Food Safety Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that excellent hygiene standards are met throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that PPE and tools are adhered to and maintained, while raising any issues or concerns with senior management.
- Work closely with the hygiene team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Train, lead, and mentor team members to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with the team and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a food manufacturing or fresh produce processing environment.
- Experience working with hygiene aspects of the business.
- Understanding of food safety requirements and ability to adhere to safe working procedures.
- COSHH and FLT training.
- HACCP level 2 and First Aid training.
