About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team at Morepeople 01780. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility maintains the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective hygiene and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of hygiene staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address any hygiene or food safety concerns.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with hygiene and food safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing or fresh produce processing environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • COSHH and FLT trained, HACCP level 2, and First Aid trained.
