About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team at Morepeople 01780. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Lead and train a team of hygiene specialists to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to hygiene and food safety.
  • Ensure that all team members are trained and equipped to handle cleaning and sanitation tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or fresh produce processing environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to train and motivate a team.
  • COSHH and FLT trained, HACCP level 2, and First Aid trained.
