Food Safety Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team at Morepeople 01780. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility maintains the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Lead and mentor a team of hygiene staff to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of the role
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address any hygiene-related issues
- Ensure that all PPE and tools are maintained and adhered to
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing or fresh produce processing environment
- Proven track record of maintaining high hygiene standards and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- COSHH and FLT trained, HACCP level 2, and First Aid trained
