We are a well-established business in the food industry, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team. As a Hygiene Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility maintains the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that excellent hygiene standards are met throughout the facility, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of hygiene professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement effective hygiene protocols and procedures, ensuring that they are communicated clearly to all staff members.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve hygiene standards and reduce the risk of contamination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a food manufacturing or fresh produce processing environment, with a strong focus on hygiene and food safety.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams to achieve high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines, including COSHH and HACCP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and educate staff members on hygiene protocols and procedures.
  • COSHH and FLT trained, HACCP level 2, and First Aid trained.
