1st Line Support Engineer

London - Hybrid Working (3-4 days in office or onsite, 1-2 days remote working)

Up to £28,000 DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced 1st line support engineer to join our expanding service desk team.

You will have experience working on a busy service desk, resolving technical issues, and will be motivated in ensuring timely delivery of services. You will be accustomed to delivering high standards of customer care and escalating problems where necessary to ensure they are dealt with quickly, in line with SLAs.

Essential Experience

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 – 2022
  • Microsoft 365 Support for Email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Active Directory Management
  • Windows 10, 11 Operating System Support
  • Apple OS and Apple Mac support experience
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Laptop/desktop and thin client support

Essential Skills

  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Some knowledge of Cisco & Apple Support would be useful

Essential Certification (Any one)

  • MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification
  • SC-900 Microsoft Security Fundamentals Certification

The ideal candidate will have MSP experience, be a team player with a can-do attitude, be highly motivated to succeed, and an excellent communicator with the proven ability to work under pressure.

Hours: 7.5 hours a day. Rotating shift between 8am – 6pm (either 8am – 4.30pm, 8.30am - 5pm or 9.30am – 6pm)

Holidays: 20 days per year, plus bank holidays
