Position Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant during daytime hours, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional, personalized care and support to our residents. You will play a vital role in upholding each individual's privacy, dignity, and independence. Additionally, you will oversee and guide your team members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes a joyful and nurturing atmosphere.

Your daily tasks may include observing care assistants during meal times, ensuring that residents' activity logs are accurately maintained, providing comprehensive handovers to incoming shifts, and assisting residents with their morning routines—all performed with compassion and attention to detail.

Key Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential setting
  • Completion of Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • A nurturing and compassionate disposition
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT systems
  • Ability to inspire and lead team members
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Flexibility in working hours
