The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Divisional Director of Nursing to lead our Integrated Care and Community Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse leader to shape the future of nursing in our trust and make a real difference to the lives of our patients.
About the Role
As Divisional Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for leading and promoting new roles from Advanced Clinical Practitioners to Nurse Associates across secondary and community care. You will work closely with our clinical teams to develop patient-centered pathways that create capacity and promote health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
- Collaborate with our clinical teams to develop and implement new care models that improve patient flow and reduce hospital admissions.
- Provide strategic influence in service planning, future workforce, and quality and safety initiatives.
- Work in partnership with our stakeholders to focus on population health and wellbeing, optimize digital innovation, and improve patient outcomes, experience, and access.
- Lead and promote new roles from Advanced Clinical Practitioners to Nurse Associates across secondary and community care.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for an experienced and passionate senior nurse leader who has a proven track record of leading and developing nursing teams. You will have a strong understanding of the NHS and its priorities, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
