Senior Healthcare Support Worker: Delivering Exceptional Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Daily Activities: Assist children and young people with daily tasks, promoting independence and dignity.
- Leading the Shift: Effectively manage the shift, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and maintaining a safe environment.
- Care Planning: Support the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring routine and stability.
- Risk Assessments: Ensure up-to-date risk assessments and person-centered care plans are in place, reviewing and updating as required.
- Personal Care: Provide personal care, including administering medication (if required) and supporting with physical disabilities.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to meet the needs of the service, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or Level 3 diploma in residential childcare (England) (RQ) or willingness to work towards after probation.
- Skills: Strong organizational, time management, planning, and communication skills. Flexible, professional, and positive approach.
- Experience: Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- Personal Qualities: Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations. Driving license would be preferable.
